Intro
My joy. My passion. My dream. My zest. My purpose. My excitement. The first project in my life that is truly mine. One of the main reasons my heart has been beating so vividly, energetically and euphorically for the last 2 years. It is finally out. My official website called the Psychology of Winners. Part of a three-pillar project of a publication, a master's thesis and a website about leadership psychology. Ancient rulers had the tradition of collecting their insights of winning in all fields of life, but no one gathers these wisdoms from the current ‘rulers’ of our world. The purpose of this website is to ignite passion in leaders-to-be, self-reflection in more seasoned ones, and caution in those who presently 'rule the world'. Today you are here, but tomorrow you may be gone – the wheel of fortune is constantly spinning. This website is designed to help us identify psychological laws that determine or increase the potential of one's success in this Universe, especially in the economic-political landscape Through this online platform I will try to grasp, engrave and capture in words the essence of the wisdom of core Slovenian political and business figures for all time so that all their magic, charisma and knowledge is translated into words forever. For the present re-questioning of success, our values, positions and missions in life. Yet also for future generations to gain valuable insights to build on.
Will the project, into which I have put all my life force and focus in last few years, be accepted? Will my ‘baby’ live? Have we refined all details to perfection? These are the dilemmas occupying my mind. But they say emotional attachment is bad for business. And as Aleksander Mervar says in one of the articles to be published: "When I truly know that I did my best – it is only then that I can forgive myself, even for having failed". Still, I hope this game will bring me an atmosphere of winning. And that by sharing stories of our most successful individuals the welfare and growth even of the whole Slovenia as a country will increase. The first ‘baby’ to enter into life, with many more to come hopefully, will be my interview with the current Mayor of Ljubljana, the never-confirmed prime minister of Slovenia, and former CEO of the Mercator retail chain, Zoran Janković. His unique charisma, positivity and warm energy, matching the yellow impressionist paintings in his office, will set the tone for many more to come. I believe Janković's career has already reached its peak, but as the country’s first president Milan Kucan says in an upcoming interview: "Some beauty, some essence can come only in farewells. It is them who make us see truly what the day behind us was. And absorb for us the true core of all that has passed".
